The Real Session

Rhythmical choir music in a pop or jazz style requires tailored rehearsal methods and a special performance focus. Katarina Henryson and Anders Edenroth, founders of the Swedish vocal quintette The Real Group, will present different ways to handle challenges and unlock the ensemble's built in potentials. The session will use scores composed by the members in order to develop listening skills, groove, phrasing, harmonic awareness as well as way to incorporate the whole body during both practice and performance.
