Nordic Classics

The Nordic countries form a special community, and perhaps you feel that most in the music? The Nordic choral literature is rich in beautiful, funny, evocative and wistful music, and at this seminar we will explore some of the most beautiful Nordic choral works of all time - both past and present. There is a lot to choose from, but we will probably concentrate on Norwegian and Danish composers, and work with good-sounding choral music that both depicts the times we live in and shows where we come from. Choral music is so rich in stories told with both text and music. And the stories are so different. We can therefore look forward to some great Nordic choral days with moods, sounds, impressions and expressions and above all: stories told through music, by people to people.
