Marit Tøndel Bodsberg (NO)
Conductor
Marit Tøndel Bodsberg is one of Norway's leading conductors. In addition to being conductor and artistic director of Kvindelige Studenters Sangforening (KSS), she is also conductor and artistic director of Den Norske Studentersangforening (DNS) and Nidarosdomen's girls' choir. She teaches conducting at Norway's Academy of Music, and is chief conductor of the Kilden Vocal Ensemble in Kristiansand. Marit has worked with several of Norway's leading choirs and orchestras, and from 2024 is under the Danish agency Crescendi artists. As a conductor, flautist and church musician, she has built up a broad field of knowledge, and with her energetic nature and musical dedication, she is not only a popular conductor, but also an inspiring pedagogue and attractive seminar leader. Her broad knowledge and long experience are also attractive in the judging panel, and she regularly has assignments as supervisor, examiner, judge and jury member at home and abroad. The choirs she conducts have won several prestigious awards in international choir competitions, and she herself has received several conducting awards.
