Gunnstein Akselberg
Professor Emeritus
Norwegian linguist and professor emeritus of Scandinavian linguistics at the University of Bergen. Akselberg works in sociolinguistics, dialectology and name research. He has been editor of the journals "Namn og Nemne" and Nordica Bergensia, and has for many years had the language column "Talk to us" in NRK Hordaland. He has been a language consultant in a popular program on NRK.
