Grete Daling (NO)

Grete Daling works both as a performer and pedagogue in the vocal field, with particular commitment to choirs and use of voice. Her main job is as a music teacher educator at Nord University. Key areas of interest within research and development work are vocal work related to voice use, genre, choir, movement and health, both as a performer, instructor and written communicator. In addition to this, she both conducts and sings in choirs. For the past 10 years, she has researched and worked a lot with joik, both as a performer in the Elle Sofe Company and the performance Vástádus eana and as a teacher together with Frode Fjellheim in the study "With joik as a starting point", at Nord University. This is the world's only joike course and has a practical profile.
